Shipping & Fulfillment Information

General Shipping:

Please note during the Christmas period delayed deliveries are being experienced by both Australia Post and Mailman.  

Here at Mad Scents, we take great pride in shipping to you in the safest and most timely option available. It is so important to us that you receive your goods quickly and safely, so that the quality that we work so hard to achieve is maintained and you are able to them as soon as possible.

Free Standard Shipping is offered on orders over $80.

Orders placed that contain only items that are in stock are shipped within 2 business days, arriving approximately 2-12 working days from dispatch depending on the address location* (see shipping table below for full details).  Please note this lead time for preparing orders applies to Express Postage items also.  

Please note that any orders received that require products to be 'custom made or made to order' may take 10-21 days to create and ship your products. Shipping can take a further 2-12business days from this date. Please feel free to contact us prior to placing a custom made order if you would like a closer estimate of how long a product may take to create.

We use both Officeworks Mailman (Fastway Couriers) and Australia Post.   

Mailman is our standard preferred courier.  We use Australia Post if a PO Box is selected.  

Express post via Australia Post is available - with next business day delivery for metro areas, and 2-3days for regional areas (including NT, WA). Standard processing times apply on orders to be packed.  

MailMan Delivery:

Signature on delivery is required for all parcels. If you would like to your parcel left if you are not home – please see the ‘Authority to Leave’ section below.

If the delivery address is unattended or someone is unable to sign for the parcel, a calling card will be left (generally in the post box or under the front door) with instructions for you to have your parcel redelivered or to collect your parcel from your nearest authorised centre.

IMPORTANT: Mad Scents asks that you please inspect the parcel before signing with the courier. Should any damage have occurred in transit do not accept delivery of a parcel.

A confirmation email is sent at time of shipment that will include a tracking number and link to the tracking website.  

Authority to Leave Parcels:

If you would like your parcel left unattended at time of delivery please select the shipping option 'Authority to Leave - Signature not required'.  

IMPORTANT: Should you wish to have your parcel left without a signature please note that all responsibilities regarding breakages and lost items to Mad Scents is waived.


As much as we do all that we can to ensure that your orders are packaged away nice and snug, ready for their trip from us to you, it is an unfortunate consequence of shipping fragile items via courier and road that sometimes breakages can occur. 

If you experience this please email us right away with the damage including details of the product and digital photos.  We will then be in touch with you to either organise a refund, or a replacement product to be shipped if available.  In order to process a refund /replacement, we must be notified within 7 days of receipt of your goods in order to lodge a claim with Mailman. If you have selected 'Authority to Leave - Signature not required', breakages / lost items are not covered by courier insurance, and therefore Mad Scents does not take responsibility for replacing or refunding the items.
